Job Description :
Support the Workers’ Compensation Claims Department manager with making strong recommendations that will get a team of 7 claims adjusters in compliance, including but not limited to planning and leading training initiatives; conducting file reviews; and statistical/loss reporting. All while maintaining a small pending consisting of catastrophic claims.

Experience / Other Details : The suitable candidate has a proven track record as a supervisor and understands the anatomy of a WC claim from inception through the actual settlement of the claim.

Job Title : Bodily Injury Adjuster APPLY

Job Description :
The BI adjuster is responsible for the investigation, evaluation and negotiation of bodily injury claims. Must be able to manage multiple disciplines and have good analytical, documentation and negotiation skills. Must handle litigated and non-litigated bodily injury claims.

Experience / Other Details : Approximately 10 years experience managing multiple disciplines with good analytical, documentation and strong negotiation skills.


Job Description :
Defend Third-party Loss Transfer Claims brought against HIC by other carriers pursuant Ins Law §5105. Determine Liability of parties involved and analyze damages of lost wages and medical payments for appropriateness and causality.

Job Title : Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster APPLY

Job Description :
Manage an open case load of approximately 150-200 including, but not limited to, the investigation and reserving of claims; case evaluation; medical and disability management; litigation management; excellent communication and time management skills; ability to prioritize and facilitate the efficient resolution of all claims assigned.

Experience / Other Details : Minimum five years WC experience required.
