Claims Services and Reporting:

To report a claim, you can call us at 718-361-9191 or "submit your claim" online 24/7. or submit a fax of your documents to First Reports Dept. at 718-559-3460.

To check on the status of your claim, our Claims Service Center is available 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and you can call us at 718-361-9191.



When you use the Hereford website to report a claim, we will also notify your broker that you have filed a claim. If you prefer to contact your broker prior to notifying us "online", he or she will assist you initiate the claim process.

Keep a printed copy of Hereford's Accident Information Form along with your agent or broker's business card and  insurance ID card in the glove compartment of your vehicle. While we hope you never need this form, it's here if you do and will allow you to provide the particulars of any accident.
